About us…

We are normal, everyday people with an extraordinary love for our God and for each other.  This means that life is anything but normal and every day is a great adventure for us.  We wouldn’t have it any other way.  Our story?

Phil grew up in Escondido and Meg was a city girl in San Francisco.  The lure of the unknown led us to travel cross-country for our first year of college- Phil in Boston and Megan in Chicago.  However, after our first year, our CA roots called us home and we both transferred to Biola University.  We met on our first day and were even in the same orientation group.  There was a connection from the start, although we didn’t begin dating until over a year later.  Both of us graduated from Biola in May of 2009 with B.A.s in Intercultural Studies.  Right after graduating we moved down to Escondido, looked for a house to rent, job searched relentlessly, and got married on July 18, 2009.  And all of this was in the span of less than 3 months!  Phew.  But we have been so blessed in every way!  We rent an awesome duplex that our church owns, God has provided abundantly in terms of our jobs, and our relationship has only grown and deepened.  Our family has grown as well…we welcomed Chloe Isabella into our arms on October 26, 2010!  Such an awesome gift.

We are a young family enjoying life and all of God’s blessings to the max.  We push each other to keep dreaming and imagining the possibilities for the future.  We know that where we are right now is not where we’ll be in 5 years, and we’re so thankful for that!  We love to laugh, talk in funny accents to each other, dance in our kitchen, and praise God in everything.

One thing have I asked of the LORD,
that will I seek after:
